子どもも大人も驚き発見！ 好奇心湧き上がる、学びとあそびと芸術の学校。
子ども向けの定期教室や、イベント、学校や福祉施設での出前ワークショップなどを行っています。
赤ちゃんからお年寄りまでさまざまな人が、不意に驚きに出会える場づくりを目指しています。
別府、熱海、アメリカ東海岸を経て、伊豆半島の宇佐美と台湾を拠点に活動中。
‘The School of Wonder’ runs group learning classes for children and events for all ages.
After stops in Beppu, Atami, and Rhode Island, USA, it is now based in Shizuoka, Japan and Taiwan.
We create the opportunities that people from babies to the elderly encounter wonders of the world in sponteneous way.
At ‘the school of wonder’, students learn various subjects, such as literature, mathematics, science, social studies, art, and music, through creative and experimental workshops.
We believe people’s ‘sense of wonder’ and we encourage it each other. They use their imagination, creativity, and expression in the class. And they create performances by themselves, using what they learned. We often collaborate with artists, musicians, dancers.

驚きの学校 校長 プロフィール
田中彩乃 (旧姓・古原)
1987年東京生まれ。早稲田大学第一文学部卒業後、教育系出版社に勤務し、算数、数学の学校教材の編集を担当する。NPO法人BEPPU PROJECTにてワークショップの企画、運営を行い、2014年からフリーランスとして活動。学校、児童館、福祉施設、劇場、フリーマーケット等さまざまな場で老若男女に向けた、芸術、学び、遊びをテーマにしたワークショップやイベントを企画、コーディネートする。音楽の場をひらく「地蔵音楽団」としても各地の祭りでパフォーマンスを行う。2018年より「驚きの学校」を主宰。2019年から3年間アメリカ、ロードアイランド州に居住。2022年、9ヶ月のオンライン授業を経て子供達と作った初監督アニメーション作品「いろいろな木」がProvidence Children's Film Festivalの公式作品に招聘される。2023年現在台湾在住。

Ayano Tanaka Educator, Art Directer
Born in Tokyo, Japan, currently a resident of Taiwan. Graduated from Waseda University with a Bachelors Degree in Japanese Literature. Since then, she has worked as an editor in educational publishing firm.
Later she worked for ART NPO ‘BEPPU PROJECT in Oita, rural area in Japan where she was in charge of planning and managing many of its contents especially performing arts and workshops.
After that she founded ‘School of Wonder’, which is private after school classes about learning, art, and play for preschool and elementary school age children.
She also worked for Japanese performing arts company “Antibodies Collective” as production manager.
She moved to Providence in 2019. She's started some education, art and music project with children.
She directed the animation film “Iro Iro Tree” created by children, educators, animators, and musicians in US and Japan, which is officially selected by Procidence Children’s Film Festival.
